All India Rank 2 - NLCFEA 2023

I am excited to share that as the team captain, I've secured the All India Rank 2 in the National Level Competition on Finite Element Analysis, organized by SAE India on March 30, 2024, at SAE India, Chennai. This achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and leadership demonstrated by my team throughout this journey.

The Challenge:

The competition presented a myriad of challenges, requiring us to navigate through complex tasks such as creating proper geometry, meshing, and identifying material properties essential for various types of analyses including structural, vibration, thermal, thermal transient, fluid-structure interaction, and multi-physics simulations. Additionally, we had to meticulously present our work, showcasing not only our technical prowess but also our ability to communicate effectively.

Leadership and Preparation:

As the team captain, I took on the responsibility of guiding our team through the rigorous preparation process. We meticulously planned our approach, dividing tasks efficiently and ensuring that each member was equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills. Under the guidance of Mr. Sudesh Powar, our esteemed mentor from MIT Academy of Engineering, Pune, we tackled each challenge with determination and perseverance.

Our preparation for the competition involved countless hours of research, simulation, and collaboration. We immersed ourselves in Finite Element Analysis, learning all we could about this area and perfecting our abilities. Despite facing challenges along the way, we remained committed to excellence.

Future Plans:

Looking ahead, I am eager to learn more about Finite Element Analysis and other related disciplines. Our participation in this competition has ignited a desire to push the boundaries of engineering innovation. We hope to continue our pursuit of knowledge, contributing to advances in our field and inspiring future generations of engineers.

Conclusion:

Achieving All India Rank 2 in the National Level Competition on Finite Element Analysis is a milestone that I am incredibly proud of. It is a testament to the collective effort, dedication, and expertise of my team. I am immensely grateful to my teammates, mentor, and everyone who supported me throughout this journey. As I celebrate this achievement, I am excited to embark on new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
